Upcoming Mineral Exploration and Mining Virtual Career Fair presents opportunities for student job seekers to connect directly with employers: February 8-9

For the second time in Canada, students can participate in a virtual fair entirely dedicated to employment and career opportunities in the mineral exploration and mining sector.

Primary-Youth-Male-EquipmentOperator-infrontofMountains2_LR.jpgThe Mineral Exploration and Mining Virtual Career Fair is a collaborative initiative between the Mining Industry Human Resources Council (MiHR) and the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada (PDAC) and is an innovative and cost-effective way to connect students with mineral exploration and mining employers across Canada and internationally. The fair will be live February 8-9, 2012 from 10 a.m. - 7 p.m. EST.

This event will benefit students and career seekers by maximizing their exposure to some of Canada's top mining and exploration employers, such as Levert Executive Worldwide Inc., The Mosaic Company, Cameco Corporation, Teck Resources, Barrick Gold Corporation, CLAC, SGS Canada, Boart Longyear, Ontario Geological Survey, Tri Origin Exploration Ltd., Walter Energy, Vale, Emplois Compétences, InfoMine Inc., Nuna Logistics Limited, Brigus Gold, Tata Steel Minerals Canada, B&D Manufacturing, IAMGOLD and Xstrata Nickel, all without the costs or inconvenience of travel. The event will help attract and recruit new talent to the mining industry.
